Warriors' Klay Thompson Officially Cleared For Practice
Earlier this week, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson began participating in five-on-five scrimmages. Now, he's continuing to make even more progress, as he's officially been cleared to fully participate in team practices with the team. Furthermore, he is expected to return to game action for the Warriors the week before Christmas.
This is such fantastic news for both the player and organization. Thompson missed the entirety of each of the last two seasons, so it will be amazing to see the All-Star finally return. He was out for the 2019-20 season due to a torn left ACL and then missed last year because of a right Achilles tear. After strong week of scrimmages, Klay Thompson has been cleared to be a full participant in all Warriors practices, trending toward return within week of Christmas, sources tell me and @anthonyVslater.https://t.co/0UsfjrL5Ub

The Warriors are currently the best team in the Western Conference, as they have a 14-2 record. If Thompson can return and be the star he was before his serious injuries, the Warriors will be even scarier and could even win themselves another championship.
Before his injuries, Thompson played in five straight All-Star games. In 615 career games, he has averaged 19.5 PPG, 3.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists. It will be fantastic to see him finally increase these totals once he's ready to go!
