Bulls Lose Guard For At Least One Week
The Chicago Bulls will be without Alex Caruso for the next little bit. The 27-year-old has a left foot sprain and it will be reevaluated in a week to 10 days.
Caruso has been a very nice addition for the Bulls so far. The former Los Angeles Laker is once again fitting in beautifully as a role player. In 26 games on the campaign, he has averaged 8.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.0 assists. These are nice numbers from him, especially when noting that he has had some injury trouble this season.
This certainly isn't the news that the Bulls needed right now, as they already have multiple players in COVID-19 protocol. Caruso is just another blow to their depth. Although they aren't playing a Christmas Day game this year, they do play on the 26th against the Indiana Pacers. Therefore, having another player out isn't ideal.
Here's to hoping Caruso's injury only keeps him out for the week and isn't worse than they expect.
