Dallas Mavericks Star Could Return Thursday
Dallas Mavericks head coach Jason Kidd provided some optimism to fans, as he told reporters that star point guard Luka Doncic could return for Thursday night's contest against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Mavs hope Luka Doncic will return Thursday vs. Bucks. Jason Kidd said Doncic has worked on conditioning as much as possible during five-game absence, but it’a been difficult due to sore ankle and lack of practice.

Doncic has not played since December 10th's game against the Indiana Pacers. The 22-year-old has been out with a sore left ankle. Although the nature of the injury is not too severe, that doesn't take away from the fact that it's great to see him getting closer to returning.
It's been another spectacular campaign for Doncic, as he's averaging 25.6 PPG, 8.0 rebounds and 8.5 assists. The Mavericks certainly need their star back, as they currently have a 15-15 record and are eighth in the Western Conference. With the Slovenian native set to return, he should be able to help them jump up a bit in the standings.
Here's to hoping Luka continues to progress and we will be ready to go for Thursday.
