Houston Rockets rookie Jalen Green has been out of the lineup for the last month because of his hamstring injury. Yet, that is now set to change, as the guard will return to the lineup for Thursday night's game against the Indiana Pacers.

Green was drafted by the Rockets with the second overall pick of the 2021 NBA draft. Therefore, many basketball fans have been watching the 19-year-old closely and will get the opportunity to again. In 18 games so far this campaign, he has averaged 14.0 PPG, 3.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists. That's not bad at all from a teenager getting his first taste of the sport's most competitive league.
The Rockets certainly aren't in a position to make a deep playoff run, as the rebuilding squad sports a 10-21 record and are tied for last in the Western Conference with the New Orleans Pelicans. Yet, even with this being the case, there's no question that they are ecstatic to get their most exciting player back.
Nevertheless, it's great to have you back, Jalen!
