Lakers Make Decision With Isaiah Thomas
The Los Angeles Lakers have made the decision to not sign Isaiah Thomas to another 10-day contract. With this, he is once again a free agent and will be looking for a new home.
All things considered, Thomas didn't do too badly at all during his brief reunion with the Lakers. In four games, he averaged 9.3 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per game. Although he wasn't as dominant as his previous days, he did show that he could work as a role player elsewhere.
Due to his solid play, there are reportedly teams considering the possibility of adding Thomas. One team who could be an intriguing short-term fit is the Chicago Bulls. Keep in mind, they are getting hit hard by COVID-19 and Lonzo Ball just entered protocols. Whether it's Chicago or elsewhere, it feels that Thomas has done enough to earn himself at least another 10-day contract.

It's hard not to cheer for the 5'9" former All-Star. Here's to hoping he finds a new home soon.
