Miami Heat Sign Two Players
The Miami Heat have signed Kyle Guy and Aric Holman to 10-day contracts.
It isn't surprising at all to see the Heat add to their roster, as they now have six players in health and safety protocols. With that, they are scheduled to play the San Antonio Spurs on Wednesday night.
Out of the pair, Guy comes with more NBA experience. He spent the last two seasons as a member of the Sacramento Kings. In 34 total career games with the organization, he averaged 7.0 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists per contest. He is still just 24 years old, so he will be looking to impress to get his career back on track.
Holman joining the Heat is quite interesting, as he has played this season with San Antonio's G-League team, the Austin Spurs. Now, he will have the chance to go up against the NBA squad. In 14 games with Austin this season, he averaged 7.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
Update: The Heat are staying busy, as they now are signing forward Haywood Highsmith to a 10-day contract.
