Phoenix Suns Add To Their Depth
The Phoenix Suns have signed M.J. Walker to a 10-day contract.
It isn't all that surprising to see them sign Walker, as they currently have four players in health and safety protocols. They also are scheduled to play Friday afternoon against the Boston Celtics, so they need to have enough players for the contest.
Walker is just starting his professional basketball career this season. In 13 games this year with the G-League's Westchester Knicks, he averaged 10.4 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game. Overall, that's not too bad at all.
Walker just went undrafted in this year's NBA draft. He just completed his collegiate career with Florida State and had a solid senior year with the school. He averaged 12.2 points, 2.5 assists and 2.5 rebounds in 24 games.
Nevertheless, this will be a big change for M.J. to show NBA teams what he's capable of.
