Bulls Sign Player And Waive Another
The Chicago Bulls have signed Malcolm Hill to a two-way contract. With this, they have also waived Devon Dotson.
Hill was just under a 10-day contract and actually only played one game for the Bulls. In it, he had five points, one rebound, and one assist. Although the sample size was obviously small, he impressed Chicago enough to earn a deal for the remainder of the season.
Hill also played in three games this season with the Atlanta Hawks. With them, he averaged 5.7 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 0.3 assists. This is the 26-year-old's entire history of the NBA action, but now, he will have the opportunity to build on it.
Dotson played in 11 games this season with the Bulls. With them, the point guard averaged 2.6 points, 0.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. In 22 total games with the team over two seasons, he averaged 2.4 points, 0.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. He will now be hoping to land a contract elsewhere. When looking at how rapidly COVID-19 cases are occurring, we could see him land a 10-day deal.
Nevertheless, these are small moves by the Bulls. Let's see how it works out for them.
