Clippers Extend a 3rd Hardship Contract To Point Guard
He came in on December 26th to help the Los Angeles Clippers through a tough stretch with players on health and safety protocols, and now point guard Xavier Moon has performed well enough to earn his 3rd hardship 10-day contract.
The nephew of former NBA player Jamario Moon, Xavier put up 10 points and 4 assists in the Clippers' Thursday night loss to the New Orleans Pelicans, and led the team in plus/minus at +4.

In six games with the Clips, Moon is averaging 5.5 points and 1.7 assists.
The 26-year-old had averaged 12.4 points and 7.3 assists with the Clippers' G League affiliate before he was signed on with the big club.
Before that, Moon was a 3-time winner of the Canadian Elite Basketball League (CEBL) Player of the Year honors, and is a back-to-back CEBL champion with the Edmonton Stingers. The 6'2" guard had averaged 21 points, 5.3 assists and 2.4 steals in his three seasons in the CEBL.
