Denver Nuggets Sign Forward
The Denver Nuggets have signed forward James Ennis to a 10-day contract.
Ennis was originally expected to sign a 10-day contract with the Utah Jazz, but they opted to bring in Denzel Valentine instead. Although that must have been deflating in the moment for Ennis, it hasn't taken him long to find a different opportunity.
With this move, Ennis will be joining his third team of the season. In four games this campaign between the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers, he has averaged 6.3 points and 2.5 rebounds. He also averaged 10.5 minutes per game in the process.
Certainly a journeyman, Ennis has previously played for the Miami Heat, Memphis Grizzlies, New Orleans Pelicans, Detroit Pistons, Houston Rockets, Philadelphia 76ers, Orlando Magic, Nets, and Clippers in just eight seasons. In 392 career games, he has averaged 6.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 0.9 assists.
It will be interesting to see how Ennis performs with the Nuggets. Overall, he's played too badly at all this season.
