Indiana Pacers To Add Two More Players
The Indiana Pacers are set to sign Lance Stephenson and Justin Anderson to 10-day contracts.
Stephenson is just about to finish his current 10-day contract with the Atlanta Hawks. In six games with the team, he has averaged 1.8 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists. In a very limited role, that's not bad play at all from the veteran. Keep in mind, this is his first time back in the NBA since the 2018-19 campaign.
This will be Stephenson's third separate stint with the Pacers. In six seasons with the organization thus far, he has averaged 9.1 points, 4.6 rebounds and 3.1 assists in 298 contests. It will be itneresting to see how these numbers change from here.
Anderson just completed his 10-day deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In three total games with the team, he averaged 4.3 points, 2.0 assists and 2.0 rebounds per contest. He comes with a decent chunk of overall NBA experience, too. In 229 career games between the Dallas Mavericks, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets and Cleveland Cavaliers, he has averaged 5.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists.
