Jazz To Hand Out 3rd Straight 10-Day To Wing Player
After two previous contracts, first a hardship deal then a regular 10-day, the Utah Jazz have been impressed enough with swingman Danuel House Jr. to sign him to a 3rd straight 10-day.
The Utah Jazz are signing Danuel House Jr. to a second standard 10 day contract, League Sources tell The Athletic. House is with the Jazz on the current trip and expected to be available tonight against the Memphis Grizzlies. He has made a strong impression through three 10 days

In his six games with Utah, House made a "strong impression", playing his usual staunch defense on the perimeter, while adding 6.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in about 19 minutes a game. He's shooting 33.3% from behind the arc.
The 28-year-old started the season with the Houston Rockets, where he'd been for the past 3 seasons, was waived in December, then signed on with the New York Knicks on a hardship contract. New York didn't re-sign him, so the Jazz pounced with first a hardship deal, then a regular 10-day, followed by today's re-up.
This is House's 6th season in the league, averaging 8.7 points and 36% from long range.
After this deal is done however, on Feb. 6th, the Jazz will either have to sign him for the rest of the season, or let him go.
