Jazz To Hand Out 3rd Straight 10-Day To Wing Player

After two previous contracts, first a hardship deal then a regular 10-day, the Utah Jazz have been impressed enough with swingman Danuel House Jr. to sign him to a 3rd straight 10-day.

In his six games with Utah, House made a "strong impression", playing his usual staunch defense on the perimeter, while adding 6.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in about 19 minutes a game. He's shooting 33.3% from behind the arc.

The 28-year-old started the season with the Houston Rockets, where he'd been for the past 3 seasons, was waived in December, then signed on with the New York Knicks on a hardship contract. New York didn't re-sign him, so the Jazz pounced with first a hardship deal, then a regular 10-day, followed by today's re-up.

This is House's 6th season in the league, averaging 8.7 points and 36% from long range.

After this deal is done however, on Feb. 6th, the Jazz will either have to sign him for the rest of the season, or let him go.
