Knicks Sign One Player And Waive Another
The New York Knicks have signed Ryan Arcidiacono to a 10-day contract. With that, they have also waived Solomon Hill.
Arcidiacono signed a 10-day contract with the Knicks in early January but did not get into any action and had his contract terminated early. However, that didn't stop New York from inking him to another short-term deal. Now, he will be hoping to actually get some playing time during his second deal.
Arcidiacono has a good chunk of NBA under his belt, though. In 207 career games with the Chicago Bulls, he has averaged 4.8 points, 2.0 rebounds, and 2.2 assists. Thus, he is no stranger to NBA competition and shouldn't be too out of place if given a chance to play this go-around.
The Knicks just acquired Hill as a part of the Cam Reddish trade last week. However, the veteran is out for the season, so it makes sense for New York to do this with him. In 13 games this season, he averaged 0.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.9 assists.
Arcidiacono will now be aiming to land a contract for the remainder of the season with the Knicks. Stay tuned to find out what happens with him next.
