Milwaukee Bucks To Sign Guard
The Milwaukee Bucks are expected to sign Jeff Dowtin to a 10-day contract.
Dowtin has gotten his first taste of NBA experience this season, as he was under a two-way contract with the Golden State Warriors. In four games with the team, he averaged 1.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 0.8 assists. However, the team opted to cut the 24-year-old last week. Now, he has a chance to get into some action with Milwaukee.
Dowtin spent the majority of this season with the Santa Cruz Warriors of the G League. With them, he averaged 17.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 12 contests. These kinds of statistics are nothing to scoff about, so it makes sense that the Bucks are willing to give him this short-term contract.
Let's see if Dowtin impresses with the Bucks from here. If so, he could end up getting signed to another 10-day contract - whether it be with Milwaukee or another NBA franchise.
In other news, the Bucks also have finalized their 10-day contract with Langston Galloway.
