NBA Rumors: 2 Atlantic Division Players Who Could Be Traded Before The Deadline
The NBA Trade Deadline is less than a month away and there is lots of chatter surrounding practically every team in the NBA. At this point in the season, most teams know (or at least think that they know) if they are going to be contenders this season and should look to add to their core, or if they have no legitimate chance at a title and should offload some expiring contracts for future assets. Here are 2 players from the Atlantic Division who have had their names brought up when discussing potential trades:

Chris Boucher - Toronto Raptors
While the jury is still out to some on whether the Raptors should be buyers or sellers at the deadline, one name that has been coming up consistently in the last few weeks, is PF/C Chris Boucher. After a steady increase in minutes as he established himself in the league, the 29-year-old is playing just over 18 minutes per game, down from 24.2 last season. On top of his minutes being reduced, his production has regressed in many categories as well, as he scores, assists, and blocks at a much lower rate than previous, and his shooting percentages are way down across the board. While still in just his 5th NBA season, and only his 3rd as a rotational player, a handful of teams are said to be interested in giving the talented Canadian-Saint Lucian a fresh start such as the Kings, Jazz, Bulls and Timberwolves.
Jevon Carter - Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets have fallen from the number one seed in the Eastern Conference down to the third seed, and are just 4-6 in their last 10 games. As a result, a number of trade scenarios are being discussed by the front office, with most of them surrounding backup point guard Jevon Carter. With Kyrie Irving seemingly back with the team - at least for now - the Nets could move Carter to improve their frontcourt. Between Irving, James Harden, Patty Mills, and Kevin Durant, the Nets have enough ball handlers, but they are seriously lacking in depth, size, and talent at the 3,4, and 5 slots. Expect the Nets to do everything they can to fill out their roster ahead of the deadline, and for Carter to be involved.
