NBA Rumors: Nuggets Interested In Spurs Guard

According to Michael Scotto, the Denver Nuggets have expressed interest in San Antonio Spurs guard Bryn Forbes.

Forbes' name has been in the rumor mill as of late, so it isn't surprising to hear that a team like the Nuggets want to add him. At this time, they have a 22-20 record and are aiming to go on a playoff run this spring. The Spurs, on the other hand, have a 16-27 record and are destined to be sellers from here.

Forbes has been a solid role player for the Spurs this season. In 40 games, he has averaged 9.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per contest. He also of course won a championship with the Milwaukee Bucks last season, so that will only add to interest around the league regarding him.

Scotto also noted that multiple other teams are also interested in the 28-year-old. At this juncture, it feels like it's a matter of not if but when that Forbes will be moved by the deadline. Let's see if the Nuggets end up being the lucky team who lands him.
