NBA Rumors: Timberwolves To Pursue 2 Players
The Minnesota Timberwolves are being linked to Detroit Pistons forward Jerami Grant and Sacramento Kings forward Harrison Barnes.
At this point of the season, the Timberwolves have a 20-22 record and are ninth place in the Western Conference. Thus, if they want any chance of having a decent playoff run, they do need to make some upgrades to the roster.
Grant is currently sidelined with a thumb injury, but before it, he was playing excellently. In 24 games this season, he is averaging 20.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 2.6 assists. He would be a great fit in Minnesota and provide them with another strong threat in the lineup.
Yet, Barnes would also be a very good player for the Timberwolves to add, too. In 39 games on the campaign, the 29-year-old is averaging 16.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.3 assists. Those aren't numbers to scoff at in the slightest.
If the Timberwolves end up with either of these players, it certainly would be good for them. Let's wait and see what ends up happening on that front.
