New York Knicks To Sign Guard
The New York Knicks will be signing Ryan Arcidiacono to a 10-day contract.
Arcidiacono spent the four previous seasons with the Chicago Bulls. In 207 total games with the organization, he averaged 4.8 points, 2.0 rebounds and 2.2 assists. When looking at the fact that he has a good amount of NBA experience, he certainly makes a solid option on this temporary contract.
Arcidiacono has played this season with the Maine Celtics of the G League, however. In six games with the team, he averaged 12.7 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.0 assists. Overall, those are some pretty solid stats from the 27-year-old, so it isn't surprising to see a team giving him a shot.
If Arcidiacono can impress during his stint with the Knicks, perhaps it could lead to another contract from here. It would be huge for the point guard to get back to being an NBA regular and we've seen other players on 10-deal days successfully do so. Let's see if it comes into fruition.
