Nuggets Big Man Out Long Term
Denver Nuggets big man Bol Bol is set to have foot surgery. As a result of this, he will be out for the next eight to 12 weeks.
This development comes shortly after the Detroit Pistons backed out of a trade that would have sent Bol there. However, he failed his physical, the Pistons understandably decided against bringing him in.
Once Bol heals from his surgery, it wouldn't be very surprising to see him end up traded somewhere again. The 22-year-old has only played in 53 career games over three seasons and deserves the chance to play more elsewhere. During those contests, he has averaged 2.7 points, 1.2 rebounds, and 0.3 assists. Perhaps another rebuilding team could view him as an appealing target.
Alas, here's to hoping Bol recovers on time and can get back into action soon. It's hard not to feel bad for the youngster.
