Indiana Pacers center Myles Turner is expected to be out until after the NBA trade deadline due to a stress fracture in his foot. The team announced that he will be re-evaluated in two weeks, but this could impact trade talks regarding the 25-year-old.

We recently reported that the Pacers seek at least two first-round picks for Turner in any potential trade, but now his injury makes that price a bit riskier. Any team looking to add him for a potential playoff push now isn't necessarily sure when he will be able to return to action. At a minimum, they won't have him on the court until after the deadline, and that isn't ideal in the slightest.
With the 15-29 Pacers looking toward a rebuild, this certainly is bad news for them, too. Turner is viewed as their biggest trade piece, and they were getting a lot of interest over him as of late. Now we will have to wait and see if this injury changes that.
In 42 games so far this season, Turner has averaged 12.9 points, 7.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists.
