Philadelphia 76ers Add To Their Roster
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Charlie Brown Jr. to a 10-day contract.
Brown Jr. just finished a 10-day contract with the Dallas Mavericks. In three games with the team, he averaged 0.7 points, 0.3 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per game. The sample size was far too small to make any real judgments of his play, so he will be hoping to get into more action with the 76ers from here.
Brown Jr. is a player aiming to cement himself a permanent job at the NBA level. Since beginning his career during the 2019-20 season, he's played in 22 NBA contests, where he has averaged 2.8 points, 1.0 rebounds, and 0.5 assists per game. Besides playing for the Mavericks, he also has suited up for the Atlanta Hawks and Oklahoma City Thunder previously.
This is a good opportunity for Brown Jr. to show the league what he is capable of. The 76ers have multiple players out, so we could see him get into a decent amount of action from here. Let's see what comes to fruition.
