"Seeing Him In Tears Was Tough": Jazz Forward Suffers Torn ACL
It was a non-contact injury.. A slip as he drove through the lane. But the Utah Jazz appear to have lost a key member of their rotation, as forward Joe Ingles went down with what's been diagnosed as a torn ACL. He will miss the rest of the season. It happened on this play against the Minnesota Timberwolves Sunday night:

Ingles' knee simply crumpled as he drove to the basket, and he was in immediate and obvious pain.
Mike Conley said the scene in the locker room at halftime was grim. “Seeing him in pain. Seeing him in tears that was tough. We knew how much this meant to him. All we could do was tell him that we loved him and tell him to keep his head up.”
A runner-up for Sixth Man of the Year last season, Ingles has been an integral part of the Jazz rotation throughout their rise to the elite of the Western Conference. He's set to become a free agent after the season.
The Jazz are also without Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell for the past several games, and lost their 5th straight game on Sunday to fall to 4th in the West.
