Utah Jazz Sign Guard
The Utah Jazz have signed guard Denzel Valentine. Originally, they planned to sign James Ennis to a 10-day contract but that didn't come to fruition.
Valentine will offer versatility off the bench, as he not only is capable of playing shooting guard but also small forward. The 28-year-old also shouldn't be too rusty, as he played in 22 games this season with the Cleveland Cavaliers. With them, he averaged 2.9 points, 1.7 rebounds, and 0.5 assists.
Valentine also comes with a solid amount of overall NBA experience. In 254 career games between the Chicago Bulls and Cavaliers, he has averaged 7.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. Although he isn't a star, he should provide more depth for the Jazz. When seeing as how they are 28-12, it isn't a bad thing that they are adding to their roster.
