Utah Jazz To Add To Their Roster
The Utah Jazz are set to sign center Norvel Pelle to a 10-day contract.
Pelle was just under a 10-day contract with the Boston Celtics, but unfortunately for the 28-year-old center, the team did not give him a single minute of playing time. Yet, that clearly did not hurt his chances of landing a job elsewhere, as the Jazz are now giving him a shot.
Pelle has two NBA seasons under his belt, but he has appeared in action for four different teams already. In 37 career games between the Philadelphia 76ers, Brooklyn Nets, Sacramento Kings, and New York Knicks, he has averaged 2.1 points 2.5 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per contest.
The Jazz currently have a few players in health and safety protocols, so it isn't surprising to see them decide to sign Pelle on this short-term deal. It will be intriguing to see if he actually gets into some action this time around.
