Warriors Provide Update On Draymond Green
Draymond Green won't be back with the Golden State Warriors for at least two more weeks. The 31-year-old is dealing with calf soreness and will be reevaluated then.
Green has missed the last handful of games due to his injury already, but now we have a potential timeline for his return. Yet, after he undergoes physical therapy, there is always the chance he may have to miss more time from there. Hopefully, that doesn't have to occur.
Green has been having another solid year for the Warriors this season. In 34 games thus far, he is averaging 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists. Needless to say, the Warriors will miss him in their lineup during this next stretch of games.
At this time, the Warriors have a 31-11 record and aren't in any danger to fall out of playoff contention. Yet, with Green out of the lineup, they have gone 3-5, so clearly, he's a very important player. Let's see how they perform without him from here. More importantly, however, here's to hoping the star can return immediately after these two weeks.
