Blockbuster 6-Player Deal: Domantas Sabonis Goes to Sacramento for Tyrese Haliburton
The NBA trade frenzy is in full effect. The day's second huge deal sees the Indiana Pacers trade center Domantas Sabonis, Jeremy Lamb and Justin Holiday to the Sacramento Kings in return for a package centered around Tyrese Haliburton.

The Pacers get Haliburton, Buddy Hield and Tristan Thompson in the 6-player deal, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
Indiana had been looking for a new centerpiece to build around, and the 21-year-old Haliburton could be it. The 12th overall pick in the 2020 draft is averaging 14.3 points and 7.4 assists in just his 2nd season.
The Kings, as well, were looking to do some big things at the deadline. But the fact that they decided to move on from Haliburton, who was once thought untouchable, is a surprise. In fact, Woj says "the league is stunned."
They traded the one player on the roster who should have been off limits.

De'Aaron Fox could be safe now, as he was also rumored in many trades. Just recently, Sacramento told Fox that he wouldn't be moved, and that they wanted to build around him. This trade could be evidence of that.
Even Joel Embiid is shocked by the blockbuster trades dropping today.

Embiid, of course, could be hoping that the Sixers are next, dealing Ben Simmons for some help (James Harden??).
The other monster deal of the day saw 7 players change hands.
