Bucks Sign Center To 10-Day Contract
The Milwaukee Bucks have signed Greg Monroe to a 10-day contract.
Monroe certainly isn't a stranger to 10-day deals, as he already signed two of them this season. He first did with the Minnesota Timberwolves and then followed with the Washington Wizards. In five games between the two franchises, he averaged 5.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. With Minnesota, he also received a lot of playing time, as he averaged 21.0 minutes per contest. This was also his first taste of NBA action since the 2018-19 season.
Monroe also has a lengthy NBA resume under his belt, so it isn't too surprising to see him land another chance elsewhere. In 637 career games between the Detroit Pistons, Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, Timberwolves, and Wizards, he has averaged 13.1 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 2.1 assists. Now, he has the chance to build on his statistics during his reunion with the Bucks.
Let's see how the veteran performs from here. If he impresses, perhaps he could land a contract for the remainder of the season - whether that's with the Bucks or elsewhere.
