Well, it didn't take Carter very long to find a new home. It was officially announced that the Brooklyn Nets waived Carter on Monday, but now, the veteran will be finishing this season with the Bucks.
Carter will provide the Bucks with some much-needed depth. In 46 games this season, he has averaged 3.6 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. Overall, he worked well with the Nets when called upon. Yet, due to their strong overall depth, he did not get as much playing time as he likely would have hoped. On the season, he has averaged just 12.0 minutes per game.
The Bucks will be Carter's fourth team in just five NBA seasons. In 203 games between the Memphis Grizzlies, Phoenix Suns, and Nets, he has averaged 4.3 points. 1.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Now, he will be aiming to build on these numbers with the Bucks from here. Overall, this has the makings of being a solid depth move for the team.
