Chicago Bulls To Waive Forward
The Chicago Bulls are set to waive Alfonzo McKinnie.
The primary purpose of this move is to free up a roster spot for free agent Tristan Thompson. It's already been reported that the veteran is heading to Chicago, so McKinnie will now need to find a new home because of it.
McKinnie played in 17 games with the Bulls this season, where he averaged 3.5 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.3 assists. He didn't receive the most playing time when called upon either, as he averaged 12.1 minutes per game.
Although McKinnie isn't a star, there should still be some interest around the league for his services. He could make for a solid depth player for a team in need of a forward at this juncture.
It will be very interesting to see where McKinnie ends up going from here.
