Boston Celtics and Orlando Magic Complete Trade
The floodgates have seemingly opened on NBA Trade Deadline day, as another deal has just been announced by ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski:
The Celtics are trading PJ Dozier and Bol Bol, a future second and cash to the Magic for a future second-round pick, sources tell ESPN. Dozier and Bol are both out for the season. Cost-savings for Boston.

The Celtics are currently 7th in the Eastern Conference and don't appear to be dropping out of playoff contention anytime soon as the team is currently on a 6-game winning streak. The move is said to be merely a cost-cutting measure, as the Celtics would be up against the luxury tax while employing two players that will not be suiting up for the rest of the season. Dozier has a torn ACL, while Bol Bol is out with a stress fracture in his foot.
The Magic, who are well outside playoff contention, only had to give up a second-round pick in exchange, and the Magic could see Bol Bol being a part of their future as the 22-year-old has a team option on his rookie contract for next season, while Dozier is an unrestricted free agent following this season.
