Draymond Green Provides Update Regarding Injury
While on TNT, Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green stated that he is aiming to return to the lineup in three to four weeks.
Green has not played since early January due to a back injury. Although the Warriors still sport an impressive 42-17 record, they certainly are hoping the veteran can return to the lineup that quickly. They are 6.5 games behind the Phoenix Suns and have a chance to catch them with Chris Paul now out for the next six to eight weeks.
Overall, it's been another strong season for Green. In 34 games this season, he has averaged 7.9 points, 7.6 rebounds, and 7.4 assists. He has provided a bit of everything on the court and of course, has been strong defensively. Once he is able to return for the Warriors, they should be in an even better shape moving forward.
Although Green stated that he hopes to return by then, it doesn't make it guaranteed. His recovery timeline for his injury has changed before, so we will have to wait and see if it doesn't this time around.
