Milwaukee Bucks Sign Guard
The Milwaukee Bucks have signed DeAndre' Bembry to a contract for the rest of the regular season.
Bembry was waived by the Brooklyn Nets on deadline day to create roster space for the James Harden trade. Although it's never a good feeling to be let go by an organization, it thankfully did not take him much time at all to find a new home.
In 48 games this season with the Nets, Bembry averaged 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists. Overall, he will provide the Bucks with more depth, which is immensely important come playoff time. It is just a few months away, keep in mind. Furthermore, he is capable of playing both shooting guard and small forward, so he will give the Bucks multiple options coming off the bench.
In 288 career games between the Atlanta Hawks, Toronto Raptors, and Nets, Bembry has averaged 6.1 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.8 assists. He will be now aiming to improve upon those totals with the Bucks.
