Jake Fischer of Bleacher Report says the Raptors have talked with the Atlanta Hawks about swapping Dragic and his expiring $19M salary in return for 33-year-old veteran shooter Danilo Gallinari.
The 6'10" Hawks' sniper has seen his number dip a bit this season, his 10.3 points per game down about 5 pts from his career average, while his 3-point percentage, while still very strong at 38.7%, had been up over the 40% mark the previous three seasons. He only has $5M guaranteed on his $20M contract for next season.
Turner would be a much bigger splash, and the offer currently on the table according to Fischer, is Dragic and a first-rounder. That would seem to be not up to snuff for the Pacers, who have reportedly set a minimum of two first-rounders in any Turner trade.
The 25-year-old Pacers center is fully signed through next season at $17.5M, but has been out for 3 weeks with a stress reaction in his foot.
