NBA Rumors: Bucks Very Interested In Free-Agent Guard
The Milwaukee Bucks are stepping up their efforts in hope of successfully landing free-agent guard Goran Dragic, according to Adrian Wojnarowski.
The Bucks have been linked to Dragic since the veteran and San Antonio Spurs agreed to a buyout. It's rather apparent that Milwaukee desperately wants to add the 14-year veteran to their lineup for their inevitable playoff run.
Dragic has played in just five games for the Toronto Raptors this season due to personal reasons. During them, he averaged 8.0 points, 2.8 assists, and 1.8 assists. Now, the 35-year-old will be aiming to build on those numbers once he is signed elsewhere.
Although the Bucks are working very hard to sign Dragic, that doesn't automatically guarantee that he will end up there. It has been reported that several other teams are expressing interest in the veteran. Yet, it's clear that they are at least doing all they can to try to lure him to Milwaukee.
It will be fun to see where Dargic ends up signing. Until we know for sure, don't count the Bucks out of the sweepstakes.
