Pacers Sign Big Man To 10-Day Contract
The Indiana Pacers have signed Reggie Perry to a 10-day contract.
This may not be the most surprising of moves, as Domantas Sabonis is currently in health and safety protocols. As a result of this, there was a spot available for Perry to land this contract. Once he is ready to come back, it will be intriguing to see what the Pacers decide to do with Perry from here.
Perry signed a 10-day contract earlier this season with the Portland Trail Blazers, too. In two games with them, he averaged 5.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 1.0 assists. Although he played decently, it wasn't enough for him to land a contract for the remainder. With Indiana, he will be hoping to impress them enough to get just that.
Perry also played 26 games with the Brooklyn Nets last season. With them as a rookie, he averaged 3.0 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 0.5 assists. This makes up the rest of his experience at the NBA level. Thus, he will understandably be happy to have a chance to build on it with the Pacers.
Nevertheless, let's see how he performs with the Pacers from here.
