It's finally happening. The Indiana Pacers are set to sign Lance Stephenson for the remainder of the season, according to Shams Charania.

It has been long rumored that the Pacers would sign Stephenson for the rest of the campaign, but the team continued to sign him to 10-day deals instead. However, that is finally set to change, and it's hard not to feel happy for the 31-year-old. Before this season, the last time he played in the NBA was during the 2018-19 season with the Los Angeles Lakers. With his very good play in Indiana, he has earned this deal.
In 17 games with the Pacers thus far, he has averaged 9.4 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. His best performance occurred when he had 20 points in the first quarter coming off the bench against the Brooklyn Nets. He would end the night with 30 points, too. Since then, he may not be as dominant offensively, but he is still playing very solidly.
Now, we just have to wait for the Pacers to officially announce that Stephenson is signed for the remainder of the year.
