After weeks of speculation about the Philadelphia 76ers interest in James Harden, word broke this week that the Brooklyn Nets would now consider possibly trading him before Thursday's deadline. Brooklyn head coach Steve Nash now has a one word answer when asked if Harden could be traded this week.

"No." Short and sweet. To be clear, Nash is not the decision-maker on trades, and he, in fact, has been tied to one of the issues Harden has in Brooklyn. But asked to clarify, Nash doubled down:

In fact, Nash even went so far as to say that Harden has expressed a desire to be in Brooklyn.
"He's continually reiterated that he wants to be here, and we've continually said that we want him here. That's our best chance to win."

Word came down on Friday that the Nets would consider trading Harden before the Feb. 10th deadline, as reports swirl that he wants to leave as a free agent after the season anyway.
Thursday at 3:00pm is when the speculation can finally come to a close. Until the offseason, of course.
