Video: Knicks' Julius Randle Has Dust-Up With Video Coordinator On Sideline
Things haven't gone well for Julius Randle this season. Following a year in which he got some peripheral MVP consideration, Randle has fallen on hard times this season, and along with him, the New York Knicks are struggling. On Saturday the frustration surfaced once again as Randle got into a flap with the video coordinator on the sideline, even batting his laptop away.
Tom Thibodeau on this interaction between Julius Randle and video coordinator Scott King: "That’s normal. Every team has it. It’s competitive people, heat of the moment. They’re good. They’ve got a great relationship." https://t.co/jm7HhK4ZnY

After slapping Scott King's laptop, Randle got into it face-to-face with him, and Knicks assistant coaches had to step in to break up the beef.
"Computers are part of the NBA," head coach Tom Thibodeau said. "That’s normal. Every team has it. It’s competitive people, heat of the moment. They’re good. They’ve got a great relationship... It's resolved."
What the video was that Randle wasn't too pleased to see is unknown, but after the Knicks blew a 21-point lead and lost to the Los Angeles Lakers in overtime, there was probably a lot to choose from. The Knicks have now lost 8 of their last 10 and find themselves 12th in the East.
This isn't the first time Randle's temper has surfaced in this disappointing season, as he's gotten into it with media, and with fans. It's also rumored that he's on the trade block.
