Bulls Provide Depressing Caruso Injury Update
Not exactly the news Chicago Bulls fans were hoping to hear; according to a report, defensive dynamo Alex Caruso is "not close" to coming back from wrist surgery.
Billy Donovan said Alex Caruso is able to get on court, do work with basketball for first time since wrist surgery, but it’s going to take some time to get strength back in area. Said AC can barely pass with right hand right now. Not cleared for contact, could be a couple weeks

Rob Schaefer reports that head coach Billy Donovan said that although Caruso is able to get on the court for the first time since his wrist surgery, "it's going to take some time to get strength back" in his wrist. As noted, Caruso "can barely pass with his right hand right now" and he's "not cleared for contact, could be a couple weeks."
Leaked workout video does show Caruso passing the ball with his left (non-surgical) hand. At least that's a start.

Caruso was knocked out of the Bulls' lineup in January on a vicious takedown by the Milwaukee Bucks' Grayson Allen, who was suspended for one game.
