Paul has missed the team's last 15 games due to a fractured thumb. Although he's a huge part of their lineup, Phoenix has maintained the number one spot in the Western Conference, as they sport a 59-14 record. Although they still have the best record in the entire league, there's no question that they are jumping for joy that Paul is finally getting ready to come back.
If Paul for some reason is ruled out for the contest, we at least have clarification that his return will be happening very shortly.
In 58 games this season, Paul has averaged 14.9 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 10.7 assists. Overall, it's been another excellent campaign for the 36-year-old, so it's exciting that he will be able to build on it from here.
