Cleveland Cavaliers Sign Center
The Cleveland Cavaliers have signed Moses Brown to a 10-day contract.
Brown was waived earlier this season by the Dallas Mavericks, so he will now be looking to impress the Cavaliers to land himself a permanent home. In 26 games this season with Dallas, he averaged 3.1 points and 2.3 rebounds. Although his numbers were a bit low, it's important to note that he only averaged 6.5 minutes per contest.
It isn't too surprising to see that the Cavaliers bring a center in, as Jarrett Allen is out indefinitely due to a fractured finger. Therefore, they can now use Brown as a potential option to replace him for the short term.
In 78 career games between the Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Mavericks, Brown has averaged 5.9 points, 5.9 rebounds, and 0.2 assists. He will now have the chance to build on these totals from here.
