After winning G League Player of the Week, averaging better than 41 points a game—Isaiah Thomas has won himself another NBA contract, this time with the Charlotte Hornets.

Included in his three-game G League outburst were 46-point and 45-point explosions, along with an average of 6.3 assists and 5.7 three-pointers made per game, to go along with 52% FG.
The Hornets have signed him to a 10-day contract, his 3rd in the NBA this season, after previous gigs with the Los Angeles Lakers and the Dallas Mavericks.
Thomas will serve as the backup to LaMelo Ball.
The 33-year-old point guard is a former 2-time All-Star with the Boston Celtics, in 2016 and 2017, but injuries derailed his career after that.
He's proven that he can still compete at a high level, and is definitely too good for the G League at this point.
