Monroe certainly isn't a stranger to 10-day deals, as he has been on the move a lot this season because of them. He has had brief stints with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Washington Wizards, and Milwaukee Bucks this season already. Now, he will be adding the Jazz to his eventful campaign.
In 10 games on the season, Monroe has averaged 5.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.4 assists. Although he hasn't been able to find himself a permanent home this season, he has done well. He will be aiming to carry over this kind of play to the Jazz.
Monroe will also provide the Jazz with more experience during this brief contract. In 642 career games between the Detroit Pistons, Bucks, Phoenix Suns, Boston Celtics, Toronto Raptors, Philadelphia 76ers, Timberwolves, and Wizards, he has averaged 13.1 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how the veteran big man performs with the Jazz from here.
