Los Angeles Clippers Sign Guard
The Los Angeles Clippers have signed Xavier Moon to a two-way contract.
Moon has spent this season with the Clippers' G League affiliate, the Agua Caliente Clippers. In 19 contests with the team, he has averaged 18.7 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 6.7 assists. With numbers like these, it's fair to say that he has earned this little promotion from the franchise.
Moon played six games with the Clippers earlier this season after signing multiple 10-day contracts. During those contests, he averaged 5.5 points, 1.5 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. Now, the 27-year-old will be hoping to get into some more game action with the NBA club from here.
At this point of the season, the Clippers have a 36-39 record and are 8th in the Western Conference. With this, it doesn't hurt for them to add a little more depth to their roster before we get into the playoffs.
