NBA Rumors: Wizards Star Prefers To Stay Put
While speaking with reporters, Wizards star Bradley Beal confirmed that he is leaning toward re-signing with the team.
Bradley Beal when asked if it's fair to say he's leaning towards re-signing: "That's fair, that's fair."

Beal has been a big part of Washington's roster for the entirety of his career, so they have to be ecstatic to hear that he prefers to stay put.
Beal had season-ending wrist surgery last month. This was very tough news for the Wizards, as he was having himself another excellent season this year. In 40 games, he averaged 23.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 6.6 assists. Washington is currently realizing just how hard it is to replace that kind of production in their lineup, so they will certainly be pushing hard to sign him to a new deal this offseason.
Beal has played for the Wizards since the 2012-13 season. In 645 career games with the team, he has averaged 22.21 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. If the 28-year-old has it his way, he will have the chance to build on these numbers next season with Washington.
