New Orleans Pelicans Re-Sign Forward
The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Alize Johnson to another 10-day contract.
Johnson was just released from his other 10-day contract on Friday, as the team signed Tyrone Wallace to replace him. However, with CJ McCollum entering health and safety protocols, it opened up a hardship spot for Johnson. Now, he will have the chance to play more minutes with the Pelicans.
In his three games with the Pelicans, Johnson averaged 3.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 0.3 assists per contest. Overall, he did fairly well coming off the bench for the team and could very well continue to do so from here.
In 71 career games with the Indiana Pacers, Brooklyn Nets, Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, and Pelicans, he has averaged 2.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 0.4 assists.
