New Orleans Pelicans Sign Guard
The New Orleans Pelicans have signed Tyrone Wallace to a 10-day contract.
Wallace has spent this season with the Long Island Nets of the G League. In 11 contests with the team, he has averaged 27.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per contest. Needless to say, he has had himself a strong campaign and will now try to carry over this momentum to the NBA.
Wallace has some NBA experience under his belt, too. In 106 career games between the Los Angeles Clippers and Atlanta Hawks, he has averaged 5.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.2 assists. Assuming he gets into some game action, this will be the first time the 27-year-old will be playing at the NBA level since the 2019-20 season.
There's nothing wrong with the Pelicans giving Wallace a shot, so let's see how the guard performs from here.
