Pacers Keeping Forward Around
The Indiana Pacers have signed Justin Anderson to another 10-day contract.
Anderson's most recent 10-day deal just expired, but it's clear that he has impressed the Pacers enough to earn himself another look with the team. In eight games with them thus far, he has averaged 7.6 points, 3.8 rebounds, and 2.4 assists. Overall, that's pretty solid play from a player on this kind of deal.
Anderson comes with a decent amount of experience, so that could also help his chances of becoming a long-term part of the Pacers from here. In 237 career games between the Dallas Mavericks, Philadelphia 76ers, Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Cleveland Cavaliers, and Pacers, he has averaged 5.3 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 0.7 assists.
Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see how Anderson performs under this new 10-day contract. Perhaps if he does well, they will keep him around until the completion of the campaign.
