Phoenix Suns Sign Guard
The Phoenix Suns have signed Gabriel Lundberg to a two-way contract.
Lundberg recently left CSKA Moscow due to Russia's current invasion of Ukraine. Following this understandable decision, the 27-year-old was deemed as one of the top international free agents available. Now, the Suns are the team that has successfully signed him. It will be interesting to see how much playing time he will receive with the team from here.
In 24 EuroLeague contests this campaign, Lundberg averaged 9.1 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 2.0 assists. With that, he also averaged 12.6 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 13 VTB United games. Overall, he has had some solid success internationally, but time will tell if it translates over to the NBA.
Nevertheless, the Suns have added more depth to this roster with this signing.
