Portland Trail Blazers Sign Forward
The Portland Trail Blazers have signed Reggie Perry to a 10-day contract.
Perry is a familiar face to the organization, as he played two games for them under a previous 10-day deal this season. With that, he also played in another contest for the Indiana Pacers after the fact. In three games on the year, he has averaged 4.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 0.7 assists. He also appeared in 26 games with the Brooklyn Nets last season as a rookie.
Perry also has spent the vast majority of this season with the Raptors 905, where he has averaged 19.7 points, 11.1 rebounds, and 2.4 assists in 34 games. Needless to say, he has put together a very strong campaign in the G League, so he will now be aiming to carry over some of that to the NBA.
The Trail Blazers are currently dealing with numerous injuries, so it makes sense that they are giving a player like Perry a chance from here. Let's see how the 22-year-old performs from here.
